As founder and owner of Poplar Land Company, Forrest is the Broker in Charge, project manager, and single point of contact for clients. He takes a hands-on approach to evaluating legacy properties and maximizing your return on investment, while bringing his knowledge of what’s possible for the land to your property search or sale.

Forrest grew up in the Yadkin River Valley of Northern Davie County, North Carolina, where he learned how to work the land and manage natural resources. He has since specialized in the sale and purchase of wildlife, agriculture, and timber tracts and has sold thousands of acres.

Now, Forrest combines his real estate experience and land management expertise to guide clients through a uniquely comprehensive process of identifying, enhancing, and maintaining the value of legacy properties. (Fun fact: We’re pretty sure he’s the only real estate broker in the state who is also a certified prescribed fire burn boss.)

Previously, Forrest founded and ran Highest Peak Media LLC, a multimedia content creation company that took him all over the United States and across the globe to work beside some of the most innovative professionals in the industry. His past land brokerage experience was with Carolina Forestry and The Shipley Co. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Catawba College and resides in Harmony, N.C., with his wife Elizabeth and three children.
